Hamilton Beach Mixer

This Hamilton Beach Shake Mixer would look great on that retro table. I wouldn't have a place to display this lovely retro relic. I rather like the hand mixers with the red handles that you can see a portion of in the photo. I wonder if this mixer still works? And what year this might have come out? My mother never had one of these! She did however own a Tupperware hand juicer in the same color blue. I'll dig out that photo and post later.

Gorgeous Aqua Boomerang Retro Table

I just fell in love with this table for two. The chairs didn't really match the aqua table but yet they looked great together. The tabletop had a boomerang pattern and the chairs were a lovely 60's floral. This is only my second post and I'm quite sure I won't have much traffic here but if you see this...please give me your opinion of this table. The aqua & yellow glassware looks good on the table as well. I found this at the Hungryneck Antique Mall in Mt Pleasant SC. If you ever want to spend SEVERAL hours looking at antiques and retro things...visit this place! My husband kept rushing me but there was so much to take in. I'm guessing it's by consignment booths. Stay tuned I have more photos where these came from.

Baby Shoes

The photo for my first post is very appropriate...

vintage baby shoes. Vintage is my passion right now and I'm in the baby stages of it. This was taken at the Hungryneck Antique Mall in Mt Pleasant SC. I could spend hours & hours in the place. It's full of antiques and vintage items all the way thru the 1980s. Once you get past 1978 or so I'm not interested. The 80's were fun and there were certainly some good that came out of that decade but frankly the furniture design, accessories, clothing, etc was just plain ugly!
